Kempsey Multi

Theodore FabricF4693-01

Kempsey Multi layers slim ornamental stripes in coral, teal, cream and soft gold for a look that feels patterned but orderly. The overall effect is warm and slightly faded, with the colours sitting close together rather than shouting.

About this fabric

Kempsey Multi from the Theodore collection is woven in a 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester blend, with a width of approximately 133cm and a vertical repeat of about 19cm by 44cm. The fabric reads as a decorative stripe with narrow guard bands, small floral motifs and medallion panels that give the design a refined, almost tapestry-like rhythm. In this colourway, the coral and brick-red stripes are softened by chalky cream grounds and cooler teal accents, so the pattern feels warm but not heavy. The visible surface has the dry, textured look you would expect from a linen-rich cloth, with enough body to suit either upholstery or drapery. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to add character to a sofa, occasional chair or bench where the coral and teal details can be read from a little distance. It also works well as curtains in a room with painted woodwork, natural timber and warm neutral walls, where the soft gold ground will pick up the light.

A lively striped fabric that balances heritage detail with a fresh, sun-washed palette.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
