About this fabric

From the Tilbury collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is a sheer with a decorative all-over vine motif and a repeat of approximately V 24cm / H 22cm. The composition is 45% Cotton, 25% Linen, 21% Viscose and 9% Polyester, giving the cloth a crisp but softly natural look that suits light-filled interiors. In this colourway, the pink reads muted and powdery rather than bright, while the old blue notes lean green-grey, so the pattern feels delicate and slightly vintage. At approximately 136cm wide, it is well suited to curtains, café curtains or layered voiles where the stitched motif can drift across the glass.

How to use it

Use it where you want pattern without heaviness: at a window, it softens daylight and keeps the room feeling fresh. The muted pink and old blue also sit neatly with painted whites, pale sage, and weathered wood tones.

A softly romantic sheer that layers beautifully over blinds or under heavier curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Georgia Sheer Pink/Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
