About this fabric

Harewood Blue/Green from the Tilbury collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric in 60% cotton and 40% linen, with an approximate width of 139cm and a repeat of V 42cm / H 69cm. The print reads as a delicate trailing floral stripe, with powdery blue flower heads, muted sage foliage and warm ochre stems set against a creamy ground. This colourway feels light and breathable, with the blue-green notes staying soft rather than vivid, so the whole design has a calm, slightly faded character. It is marked with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM.

How to use it

The soft blue-green palette suits pale timber, painted woodwork and linen upholstery, especially in rooms that want pattern without strong contrast. It would work well on relaxed curtains, blind panels or a small upholstered piece where the vertical stripe can enhance height.

Use it for breezy curtains or a tailored armchair where the soft blue-green print can stay light and fresh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harewood Blue/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
