Theta Old Blue

Tilbury FabricF4914-02

Theta Old Blue shows a delicate trailing leaf pattern in a pale powder-blue tone on a warm ivory ground. The motif reads light and airy, with the linen giving the design a quietly natural finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Fabric has a relaxed handle that suits the gentle, tailored look of the pattern. The design has an approximate vertical repeat of 44cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm, giving the leaf trail a measured, balanced rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue is softened to a misty, chalky hue rather than a strong shade, so the overall effect stays calm and fresh on the pale ground. The fine outline of the stems and feathered leaves adds just enough detail to feel decorative without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use Theta Old Blue for lined curtains, blinds, or light upholstery accents where a cool, understated pattern is wanted. Its pale blue note works especially well with chalky whites, weathered wood, and quiet grey interiors.

A restrained blue-and-ivory leaf design that suits elegant curtains and Roman blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Theta Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
