About this fabric

This Tilbury fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 41% polyester, 35% linen and 24% cotton blend, with a width of approximately 132cm and a repeat of V 8cm / H 33cm approximately. In this colourway, the stripe appears as a muted aqua with a cool, airy cast, set against an ivory ground that keeps the overall effect bright and restrained. The surface has a softly textured, dry handle look that suits the classic vertical rhythm of the design. It is a versatile fabric for curtains, blinds or light upholstery where a calm stripe with gentle colour is wanted.

How to use it

Use it to bring a cool, coastal note to fitted cushions, bedside chairs or slim curtains. The pale aqua reads especially well with white paintwork, weathered timber and other washed neutrals.

A fresh aqua stripe that feels crisp and composed, ideal for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
