Loire Aqua

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Aqua is a quiet, cool-toned plain with a softly woven surface and a fresh aqua cast. The colour sits between blue and green, reading light and airy rather than bright.

About this fabric

From the Verona Collection by Ashley Wilde, Loire Aqua is woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen for a natural handle with a lightly textured finish. The 142cm width and 18,000 rub test make it suitable for light domestic upholstery, drapes and blinds. Visually, the fabric shows a muted aqua blue with a gentle green undertone, softened further by the linen blend and the fine crosshatch of the weave. Its 340gsm weight gives it enough substance to hang neatly while still feeling calm and understated.

How to use it

Use Loire Aqua where you want a cool, restful colour that doesn’t overpower the room: think bench seating, padded headboards or relaxed curtains. It pairs neatly with bleached woods, chalky whites and pale grey accents.

Its cool aqua tone works beautifully as a calm, usable coordinate across upholstery and window dressing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
