Loire Cranberry

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Cranberry is a plain fabric in a deep cranberry red, with a softly woven look that reads warm and full of colour. The close weave gives the surface a refined, lightly textured finish rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, this fabric has the natural handle and subtle slub character you can see across the surface. At 142cm wide and weighing 483 grams per linear metre, it feels substantial enough for light domestic upholstery while still being suitable for drapes and blinds. The 18,000 rub test supports its everyday domestic use, and the 340 gsm weight gives the colour a grounded, upholstered presence. The cranberry tone sits between red and berry, with a muted depth that softens in daylight and looks especially rich against timber, stone, or neutral upholstery companions.

How to use it

Use Loire Cranberry to add warmth to a reading chair, bench cushion, or tailored curtains where you want a colour that feels richer than terracotta but less bright than true red. It pairs well with oatmeal linens, dark woods, and aged brass for a smart, grounded scheme.

A rich cranberry plain that brings warmth and colour without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
