Loire Frost is a quiet, frost-white plain with a clean, lightly textured surface and a cool, airy feel. The weave reads crisp rather than chalky, giving the colourway a refined, understated presence.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Frost has the natural look you expect from a cotton-linen blend, with a subtle slubbed texture visible across the surface. The 142cm width and 340gsm weight make it a practical mid-weight cloth for light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds. Its 18,000 rub test confirms it has enough durability for careful seating use while still feeling soft and relaxed in the hand. The colour is a pale frost white with a cool grey undertone, so it reflects light gently and keeps the finish calm rather than stark.

How to use it

Use Loire Frost to soften darker woods, pale oak and brushed metal, or pair it with stone, putty and soft grey accents for a pared-back interior. The cool white tone works especially well in rooms where you want brightness without a sharp, clinical finish.

A cool, restrained neutral that suits clean-lined upholstery or softly tailored drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
