Bowen Check Old Blue from the Magnus Checks collection by Colefax and Fowler is a checked fabric with a repeat of approximately V 14cm / H 14cm and a width of approximately 141cm. Its 63% viscose, 26% cotton, 6% linen and 5% acrylic blend gives the cloth a slightly dry, woven handle that suits its relaxed country feel. In this colourway, the blue reads as muted and gently washed, with a cool, chalky cast rather than a strong clear sky tone. The small grid of pale cream-white stripes sits lightly on the surface, keeping the design crisp without making it feel busy.
