About this fabric

This colourway combines a muted beige base with pale cream banding, dusty blue-green accents and the faintest blush-red pinstripes, giving the plaid a mellow, sun-washed look. The cloth has a lightly textured woven surface rather than a flat finish, which suits the natural mix of 46% viscose, 32% cotton, 18% linen and 4% polyester. With a width of approximately 143cm and a repeat of V 24cm / H 24cm, it is an easy scale for tailored upholstery, loose covers or relaxed curtains. The checked pattern feels classic but softened, so it reads as inherited rather than formal.

How to use it

Use this beige plaid with oak, putty paintwork and linen-toned upholstery for a layered, country-house feel. Its muted blue and blush threads also make it a good bridge between warm woods and cooler painted finishes.
