About this fabric
This colourway is a warm, earthy red with russet and terracotta notes, lifted by lighter yarns that give the check a lively woven flicker. The small repeat, with vertical repeat 0cm and horizontal repeat about 2cm, keeps the pattern neat and disciplined across the cloth. Woven in 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester, it has a grounded textile handle that suits a polished yet practical finish. At approximately 141cm wide, it is well proportioned for a range of domestic furnishing uses, and the checked herringbone surface adds depth without feeling busy.
How to use it
Use Bantry Red to add warmth to upholstered dining chairs, a sofa cushion, or tailored curtains where the red can act as a strong but classic accent. It pairs especially well with oak, dark wood and muted neutrals, letting the woven texture bring the colour into focus.
A restrained red check that brings warmth and structure to both classic upholstery and tailored curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bantry Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
