About this fabric

Bantry Blue from the Magnus Checks collection by Colefax and Fowler is a textile fabric with a horizontal repeat of approximately 2cm and a width of approximately 141cm. The blend of 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester gives the cloth a smooth but lightly textured handle, with the visible weave lending the colour a subtle melange effect. In this colourway the blue is softened with grey, so it feels calm and slightly chalky rather than bright or nautical. The small check keeps the surface orderly and understated, making the design look neat from a distance and gently detailed up close.

How to use it

Use Bantry Blue where you want a cool, composed accent that won’t overpower a room, such as a smart armchair, cushions, or relaxed curtains. Its muted blue-grey tone pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and deeper navy accents.
