Bantry Beige

Magnus Checks FabricF4240-08

Bantry Beige is a softly muted beige check with a fine herringbone-like texture and a gentle, tailored feel. The small-scale pattern sits quietly across the surface, giving the cloth a restrained but characterful finish.

About this fabric

Part of the Magnus Checks collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is composed of 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester. The weave reads as a delicate beige herringbone check with a warm, sandy undertone and a very low-contrast surface that feels calm rather than stark. Its approx. 141cm width and 2cm horizontal repeat make it a practical choice for both upholstery and soft furnishings, while the subtle texture adds depth without visual noise. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where a refined natural-look neutral is the priority.

How to use it

Use Bantry Beige on an armchair, banquette or neatly tailored curtain where its warm beige tone can soften stone, oak and brass. It layers especially well in rooms that need a quiet pattern rather than a bold statement.

A softly tailored neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bantry Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
