About this fabric

This plain woven fabric combines 44% cotton, 38% viscose, 10% linen and 8% polyester. Its 140 cm (55") width and balanced mid-weight appearance make it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The 27,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while the fine woven texture keeps the colour looking composed rather than rustic. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Clarence Sand to upholster a sofa or headboard where its warm beige tone can soften darker timber and stone finishes. It also brings an understated, gently textured finish to full-length curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
