About this fabric

Composed of 34% viscose, 32% cotton, 17% linen and 17% polyester, this 137 cm-wide fabric combines a soft-looking natural texture with a closely woven, understated finish. The espresso brown reads rich and earthy rather than black, while fine lighter threads visible across the surface prevent it from appearing flat. With a 40,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care is restricted to professional dry cleaning: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Drayton Espresso to ground a warm, tonal scheme on a sofa, headboard or loose cover, pairing its deep brown with oatmeal, tobacco and aged brass. As curtains or a bedspread, its softly textured surface adds depth without competing with patterned furnishings.
