Orion Iii Parchment

Orion III Parchment is a pale, warm beige textile with the quiet tonal character of natural parchment. Its close, subtly uneven surface adds gentle texture without introducing a visible pattern.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a light parchment beige, softened rather than stark, with a faint warmth that becomes more noticeable in the lighter areas of the weave. Fine horizontal striations run across the surface, creating a restrained woven texture instead of a completely flat plain. Subtle shifts between cream-beige and slightly deeper beige threads give the swatch a softly mottled depth while keeping the overall impression calm and understated. No further composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm parchment beige with natural timber, chalky whites and soft taupes for a quietly layered room, or use it to temper darker wood and muted accent colours. Its fine texture is suited to both upholstery and drapery where a light, refined neutral is wanted.

Use this softly textured parchment beige as a calm neutral for upholstered seating, curtains or layered schemes.

Pairs well with

Orion Iii Parchment is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
