Essential Colour III - Neutral FabricBF11187.240

Bray Mole is a warm mole-brown textile with a softly clouded surface, giving the plain colour subtle depth rather than a flat finish. Its muted taupe-brown tone reads earthy and quietly refined.

About this fabric

The surface shows fine, irregular tonal variation across the brown ground, with lighter and deeper areas that create a gently brushed-looking effect. Composed of 45% cotton, 40% viscose and 15% polyester, it has a balanced textile character suited to both decorative and practical interiors. At 137 cm wide, Bray Mole is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 50,000 Martindale rub test makes this understated colourway a strong option where a calm appearance is needed alongside hard-wearing upholstery performance.

How to use it

Use Bray Mole to bring a warm, grounded taupe-brown note to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, where its tonal clouding will soften broad surfaces. It can also be carried through to curtains or bedspreads for a cohesive, quietly tailored scheme.

A warm, softly mottled mole tone with enough visual depth for upholstery and a calm, tailored drapery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
