About this fabric

The old-rose ground has a warm, dusty red character rather than a bright or highly saturated finish, allowing the illustrated branches and flowers to remain finely defined. Perched birds, pale twisting stems, chrysanthemums and smaller blossom sprays are picked out in cream, olive, muted yellow and charcoal-black. The visible linen weave adds a subtle natural texture across the richly patterned surface. Made from 100% linen and measuring 134 cm wide, it has a 106 cm vertical repeat and a 134 cm horizontal repeat, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this old-rose colourway to bring warmth and depth to a traditional sitting room, pairing it with aged cream, olive green and dark wood. Its large botanical repeat is especially effective on curtains, an occasional chair or a coordinated bedspread.
