About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric combines a soft cream base with warm brick and rust-red motifs, allowing the paisley forms to read clearly without appearing stark. Large scrolling teardrops, small flowers and leafy stems create an intricate surface with plenty of visual depth. At 138 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The design has a 60 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat, while care requires professional dry cleaning only; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm rust-red and cream palette on a traditional armchair, headboard or full-length curtain, pairing it with aged wood, painted furniture and quiet natural linens. Its formal botanical density also suits a layered bedroom scheme where the paisley can act as the principal pattern.

An ornate rust-red paisley linen that brings traditional pattern and warm contrast to upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bukhara Paisley Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
