Penny Stripe Indigo presents a cool, deep indigo ground crossed by closely spaced vertical lines in muted rust, taupe and softer blue. The fine stripe structure gives the swatch a subtly textured, tailored appearance.

About this fabric

Made from 100% cotton and supplied at 132 cm wide, Penny Stripe Indigo is a finely woven stripe with a clear, narrow vertical rhythm. Its indigo-blue base reads cool and quietly saturated, while the rust and taupe threads add warmth without disrupting the overall depth of the colourway. The supplied horizontal pattern repeat is 16.8 cm (6.6"). Suitable for curtains and bedspreads, it has a neat, understated finish that works particularly well where a linear textile is preferred over a larger motif. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo tone for full-length curtains in a calm bedroom or study, picking up the restrained rust lines with warm timber or aged brass. It can also coordinate neatly with a tailored bedspread where the fine vertical stripe adds height without overwhelming the room.
