Basil Stripe Blue

Basil Stripe Blue combines a pale stone-beige ground with closely spaced vertical lines and small, dark blue motifs. The cool blue accents give the narrow stripe a crisp, graphic character while retaining the softness of the neutral ground.

About this fabric

On the pale stone-beige ground, fine vertical lines alternate with darker blue pinstripes and narrow broken bars. Small, repeated dark-blue leaf- or butterfly-like marks sit within several lighter bands, creating a lively rhythm without overpowering the ground. This fabric is 100% cotton, 137 cm (53.82") wide, with a 19.5 cm (7.66") horizontal pattern repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the cool, muted blue with chalky neutrals, soft grey or natural timber for a relaxed tailored scheme. Its fine vertical rhythm works particularly well on curtains or on upholstery where a neat, directional pattern is wanted.

Its cool blue marks and pale beige ground suit tailored curtains, upholstered seating and coordinated bedspreads.
