Petra Stripe Jazz presents closely spaced vertical stripes in ochre, terracotta rust, teal, green, cream and charcoal. The warm ochre ground gives the colourway a sunlit, grounded character, while the cooler blue-green lines add definition.

About this fabric

Woven from 65% cotton and 35% linen, this 134 cm-wide fabric has a tactile, subtly slubbed surface visible across the narrow stripe arrangement. Ochre dominates the field, with rust-red bands bringing warmth and teal, green, cream and charcoal stripes creating a layered, rhythmic contrast. A 33.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat gives the stripe layout a clear construction for upholstery and made-to-measure work. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the ochre and rust tones to warm an occasional chair, headboard or loose-covered sofa, then pick up the teal stripes with cooler blue-green cushions or painted joinery. Its vertical rhythm also makes it effective for full-length curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
