Gertrude Document Green places lively botanical and animal illustrations across a warm cream ground. Moss, olive and deeper forest greens are joined by russet-brown and terracotta details for a richly coloured, storybook effect.

About this fabric

The cream background keeps the design light, while layered green leaves, palms, flowering branches and rounded trees create substantial visual depth. Small animals and birds appear among the foliage, with russet deer, monkeys and other warm brown figures adding contrast to the cooler greens. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the fabric is 134 cm wide and has a 125 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 134 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test. Care instructions are professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement chair, sofa or full-length curtain where its cream ground can brighten the room while the moss foliage and russet animals introduce layered colour. It works especially well with aged wood, natural linen and warm brass.
