Eldon Document Red/Green presents a detailed botanical scene across a warm cream ground, with crimson flowers, leafy green branches, birds and butterflies creating a richly illustrated surface. The red is vivid and decorative against the softer cream, while olive and forest greens give the design depth.

About this fabric

Large flowering trees, curling branches, fruit, birds and small insects are clearly distributed across the cream background, giving this colourway an abundant, formal character rather than a restrained repeat. It is woven in 18% linen and 82% viscose, with a 130 cm width and substantial 131 cm vertical and 130 cm horizontal pattern repeats. The 20,000 Martindale rub test supports its specified use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care requires professional dry cleaning only; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the crimson blooms and leafy greens to bring colour to a traditional sitting room, either on a statement chair or sofa with plain cream upholstery nearby. Its warm illustrated ground also suits full curtains or a coordinated bedspread where the large repeat can be appreciated.

A richly illustrated red and green botanical works equally well on statement upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
