Petra Stripe Red/Blue combines muted coral-red, deep blue, ochre and narrow cream lines in a closely spaced vertical stripe. Its woven surface gives the colourway a softly textured, considered appearance rather than a flat printed effect.

About this fabric

The stripe alternates broad coral-red and blue bands with finer ochre, cream and darker blue lines, creating a balanced rhythm with a subtly weathered, woven texture. Made from 65% cotton and 35% linen, this 134 cm wide fabric has a 33.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test. Care instructions are professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm red stripes to bring depth to a window seat, armchair or upholstered headboard, then pick up the cooler blue and ochre lines in cushions or painted joinery. The vertical direction also gives curtains and bedspreads a neat, tailored presence.
