Court Velvet Aquamarine is a plain velvet in a deep, cool aquamarine-teal shade. Its softly mottled surface catches the light unevenly, creating gentle shifts between blue-grey and blue-green.

About this fabric

Made from 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, this 137 cm-wide velvet has a smooth, subtly lustrous pile. The dark aquamarine colour reads as restrained and atmospheric rather than bright, with the nap giving the plain surface visible tonal depth. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for fixed and loose upholstery, while the supplied usage also includes curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-green velvet on a reading chair, headboard or sofa where its shadowed tone can add depth without becoming vivid. At the window, it creates a calm, tailored layer against pale stone, warm timber or softly contrasting neutrals.

A cool, softly shaded aquamarine velvet that brings depth to upholstery while remaining elegant at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
