About this fabric

The old-red ground has a warm, gently faded coral cast rather than a hard, bright scarlet. Finely drawn cream, sage-green and charcoal-grey trees, classical buildings, water and distant landscape form a densely layered scenic repeat. At 137 cm wide, the fabric has a 93 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 68.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat, so the architectural scenes will need thoughtful placement. With an 82% viscose and 18% linen composition, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the warm red ground to anchor a traditional sitting room, library or bedroom, pairing it with natural linen, aged timber and muted sage accents. Its large scenic repeat is especially effective on full curtains, an upholstered headboard or a carefully matched occasional chair.
