Tetbury Stripe Soft Red shows delicate, closely spaced vertical trails in a softened red across a warm cream ground. The small, repeated motif gives the swatch a gently rhythmic appearance without overwhelming the light cotton surface.

About this fabric

The 100% cotton ground is marked by narrow, irregular vertical lines made from tiny leaf- or fern-like strokes, creating a stripe that feels botanical rather than sharply geometric. Its soft red tone is muted and warm against the pale cream background, with a lightly faded quality that keeps the colour easy on the eye. At 137 cm wide, the fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The vertical pattern repeat is 15 cm and the horizontal repeat is 19.5 cm; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm soft-red stripe at windows for a calm, lightly patterned treatment, or carry it onto a bedroom chair or bedspread against cream, natural timber and muted terracotta accents. Its narrow vertical rhythm can add gentle height without making a room feel formal.
