Royal Court Red

Royal Court FabricBP11096.3

Royal Court Red combines a warm coral-red ground with an intricate procession of paisleys, curling stems and small botanical flowers. Cream, soft turquoise and antique-gold details lift the dense pattern while preserving its richly coloured depth.

About this fabric

This 82% viscose and 18% linen fabric has a 137 cm (53.82") width, with a 20 cm (7.86") vertical repeat and a 34.25 cm (13.46") horizontal repeat. The medium-scale design is visibly busy and ornamental, layering cream paisley forms with blue-green flourishes, gold accents and fine red linework across the coral ground. Its detailed, jewel-like colouring makes the surface read as formal and decorative rather than understated. It is supplied for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Royal Court Red on a statement chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains where its warm coral tone can anchor a room. Pair it with aged gold, warm cream and muted blue-green accents to echo the motif without competing with its fine detail.

A richly detailed coral-red paisley and botanical design for expressive upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Royal Court Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
