About this fabric
In this Marble colourway, a very pale ivory ground is crossed by cool grey-beige damask tracery, giving the swatch a softened, lightly mineral appearance. The repeating pattern combines scrolling foliage, formal medallion-like forms and horizontal ornamental bands, with the low contrast allowing the detail to emerge gently rather than sharply. Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, it measures 137 cm wide and has a 67 cm vertical repeat and 34.25 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care is professional dry clean only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.
How to use it
Pair this pale ivory-grey colourway with chalky neutrals, light timber and aged silver for a quiet, refined scheme. Use the generous damask repeat on curtains or a statement chair where its fine ornamental detail can be appreciated up close.
Use this softly contrasting ivory-grey damask for elegant curtains, upholstered seating or coordinated bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Queen's Damask Marble without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
