Royal Court FabricBP11096.1

Royal Court Red/Green is a densely arranged floral textile on a warm cream ground. Coral-red blooms, sage-green scrolling stems and muted leafy details give the pattern a softly aged, garden-inspired character.

About this fabric

The small-scale design combines curling vines, stylised flowers and paisley-like leaves, with coral red providing clear points of colour against the pale ground. Sage green and muted ochre accents soften the pattern, while the closely detailed layout creates visual depth without becoming heavy. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the fabric is 137 cm wide and has a 20 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 34.25 cm horizontal repeat. Its specified uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this cream, coral and sage colourway to bring gentle pattern to a traditional sitting room, upholstered headboard or relaxed window treatment. Pair it with warm ivory, natural wood and muted green rather than stark white to retain its softened vintage tone.

A softly traditional small-scale floral for curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
