Melbourne Stripe Jazz

Eldon FabricBP11076.4

Melbourne Stripe Jazz combines fine coral-red lines with broader muted sage and powder-blue stripes over a warm ivory ground. The vertical arrangement has a crisp, tailored rhythm, while the visible woven surface softens the colour contrasts.

About this fabric

Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, this 137 cm-wide fabric has a 22.8 cm horizontal pattern repeat. The colourway is distinctly multicoloured but restrained: warm coral provides definition, while sage green and dusty blue bring cooler depth against the creamy ivory background. A subtle textile grain is visible across the stripe, giving the otherwise precise design a natural, lightly tactile finish. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the ivory ground as a bridge to warm painted walls, then echo the coral in piping or cushions and the sage or dusty blue in plain upholstery. Its vertical direction suits full-length curtains as well as a tailored headboard or occasional chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
