Zaraband Blue

Eldon FabricBP11078.2

Zaraband Blue pairs a pale ivory ground with a cool, dusty blue repeating pattern of pointed arches and teardrop-like forms. The irregular, softly brushed edges give the blue a gently ikat-like depth rather than a sharply printed appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern is arranged in compact vertical rows, with blue arch shapes enclosing smaller pointed motifs and creating a lightly rhythmic surface. This colourway reads as muted and cool, with the ivory ground keeping the overall effect bright while the varied blue marks add depth. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the 137 cm wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 36 cm and its horizontal repeat is 68.5 cm, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use Zaraband Blue where its cool blue-and-ivory contrast can act as a composed focal point, such as on a reading chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains. Pair it with chalky ivory, pale blue and natural timber to emphasise the pattern’s fresh, tailored character.

The cool blue and ivory pattern brings a tailored, softly graphic finish to curtains, upholstered seating and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
