Court Buttons Blue combines a soft ivory ground with closely spaced circular motifs in powder blue, muted taupe and charcoal-grey accents. Its small-scale repeat gives the surface a finely detailed, quietly tailored appearance.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and supplied at 135 cm (53.04") wide, this colourway has a 18 cm (7.07") vertical repeat and a 13.5 cm (5.3") horizontal repeat. The cool pale-blue rings stand out gently against the warm ivory ground, while the taupe and grey touches add depth without making the design feel strong or saturated. The closely ordered button-like motifs create a subtle all-over texture across the light cotton surface. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the ivory-and-pale-blue palette to brighten a bedroom or relaxed sitting room, pairing it with chalky whites, soft grey-blue upholstery and natural timber. The small repeat is especially useful for curtains or bedspreads where an even, detailed surface is wanted.
