Tetbury Linen Soft Blue has a quiet, cool blue-grey appearance with the softly irregular surface and fine linear texture visible in the linen weave. Its pale tone remains gentle rather than strongly saturated, giving the cloth a light, airy quality.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 140 cm (55 inch) fabric shows a subtle plain weave with delicate vertical and horizontal variation across the soft blue-grey ground. The restrained colour has a cool, misted depth that changes gently as the light catches the weave, rather than reading as a flat blue. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Professional dry cleaning is required; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this soft blue-grey on relaxed upholstery where its cool, pale tone can lighten the room, or carry it through curtains and a bedspread for a quiet, coordinated scheme. It works especially well alongside chalky whites, pale grey and natural timber.
