Tetbury Linen Nutmeg
Tetbury Linens FabricBF11126.250
Tetbury Linen Nutmeg is a quietly textured plain linen in a warm, earthy shade between toasted brown and muted terracotta. The close weave gives the swatch a soft, understated depth rather than a pronounced pattern.

About this fabric
Woven from 100% linen, this 140 cm-wide fabric shows a subtle natural crosshatch and gently irregular surface that catches the light without becoming glossy. Its nutmeg colouring is warm and grounded, with a softened terracotta cast that brings depth to the plain weave. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 35,000 Martindale rub test for practical everyday use. Care requires professional dry cleaning; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use the warm nutmeg tone to bring a relaxed, sun-baked character to an occasional chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then repeat it in full-length curtains or a bedspread. It pairs naturally with aged wood, cream linen and muted olive accents.
A warm, quietly textured linen suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Tetbury Linen Nutmeg is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
