Tetbury Linen Chalk is a softly warm, near-ivory linen with an understated vertical slub visible across its otherwise quiet surface. The pale chalk tone reads gently creamy rather than stark white, with subtle tonal movement as the light catches the weave.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 140 cm (55") fabric has a fine, lightly irregular texture that gives the plain surface tactile depth without introducing a visible pattern. Its warm chalk colouring works as a calm, light-reflective neutral, while the delicate vertical grain keeps it from appearing flat. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm chalk colourway to soften a pale, quietly layered room, particularly on relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains where its fine linen grain can catch the light. It also makes a gentle bedspread fabric against warmer creams, natural woods and muted neutrals.
