Tradewind Sky Blue combines a cool blue-grey ground with closely spaced vertical lines and tiny flashes of red, orange and yellow. The fine woven texture gives the colourway a softly tactile, tailored appearance.

About this fabric

This fabric has a muted sky-blue and blue-grey tonal base, crossed by narrow vertical stripes that create a subtle ribbed rhythm across the cloth. Small, irregular-looking coloured accents in red, orange and warm yellow add lively contrast without overpowering the cool ground. Made from 75% cotton and 25% jute, it is 137 cm wide and has a 10 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 12.4 cm horizontal repeat. With a 25,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the cool sky-blue tone to bring clarity to a room with pale timber, soft grey or chalky neutral walls, while the small warm flecks can be echoed in cushions or accessories. Its restrained vertical striping suits tailored seating, headboards, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
