About this fabric

The design is built from narrow vertical lines in muted beige and grey, punctuated by small red and olive green rectangular marks. The natural-looking ground reads warm rather than stark, while the jute content contributes to the subtly slubby woven texture visible across the swatch. Made from 75% cotton and 25% jute, the 137 cm-wide fabric has a 10 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 12.4 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 25,000 Martindale rub test for practical everyday use.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory base to soften a room with painted timber, natural wood or oatmeal upholstery, then pick up the muted red and olive green marks in cushions, piping or painted accents. Its orderly vertical rhythm works particularly well on a tailored armchair, headboard or full-length curtain.
