Roar Stitch Jewel places lively jewel tones over a warm ivory ground, with small floral sprays, birds and stylised animal motifs arranged in a richly varied repeat. The coral, turquoise, blue, green and mustard accents give the swatch an eclectic, illustrated character.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven from 50% cotton, 40% linen and 10% spun polyester, with a 130 cm (51.07") width. The detailed pattern combines larger bouquet-like arrangements with tiny scattered flowers, birds and animal figures, all picked out in saturated turquoise, deep blue, coral, leafy green and mustard. Against the soft ivory background, the colours feel bright and warm rather than dark, while the closely spaced motifs create plenty of visual movement across the cloth. The 38 cm (14.93") vertical repeat and 43.5 cm (17.09") horizontal repeat suit its stated use for curtains and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground to soften a room with painted walls, then echo the turquoise, coral or mustard details in cushions, trims or ceramics. As curtains, the small-scale multicolour repeat can bring an animated focal layer without relying on a single dominant shade.
