About this fabric

The stripe is built from alternating dark indigo, chocolate brown, muted rust, olive green and slim cream bands, creating a grounded palette with a cool blue depth. A subtly irregular, ribbed weave gives the surface the natural texture associated with its 60% jute and 40% cotton composition. At 139 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The horizontal pattern repeat is 17.3 cm (6.8"), while the closely spaced vertical striping gives the fabric a strong architectural rhythm.

How to use it

Use the indigo and chocolate ground on a tailored armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then pick up the rust and olive stripes with cushions or painted joinery. As curtains, the narrow cream lines can soften the darker palette without losing its richly layered character.
