About this fabric

The narrow vertical bands create a lively striped texture, while the darker ground gives this colourway depth rather than a bright, high-gloss finish. Woven from 60% jute and 40% cotton, it has a visibly substantial, slightly dry textile character suited to both curtains and upholstery. At 139 cm wide, the design has a 17.3 cm horizontal pattern repeat and is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair the rust, teal and mustard stripes with warm timber, ochre accents and charcoal upholstery for a layered, collected room. Used on a tailored chair, ottoman or full-length curtain, the vertical direction adds rhythm without relying on a large motif.

Use the rich vertical stripes to bring structured colour to upholstery, curtains or a tailored bedspread.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
