About this fabric

The colourway has a warm, saturated jewel quality, with bright ochre and rust stripes set against cooler teal, blue and plum bands; the contrast gives the surface considerable depth. Fine pale and yellow motifs appear intermittently along the darker stripes, while the visible weave keeps the pattern tactile rather than flat. It is made from 50% cotton, 48% jute and 2% polyester, with a 134 cm width and a 33.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat. The specification allows for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, making this a versatile stripe for coordinated soft furnishings.

How to use it

Pair the rust and ochre bands with warm timber and natural finishes, or draw out the cooler teal and plum lines with painted furniture and plain cushions. On a chair or headboard, the vertical striping will give the form a crisp, tailored outline; across curtains or a bedspread, it creates a more rhythmic colour statement.
