About this fabric

Made from 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, this 137 cm-wide velvet has a dense, smooth appearance suited to both tailored and relaxed upholstery. The golden tone shifts softly between honeyed highlights and deeper ochre-brown areas where the nap changes direction. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for fixed upholstery, loose upholstery, curtains and bedspreads. Care is specialist: do not wash, bleach or iron; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use this warm soft-gold velvet to bring mellow richness to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered bed, pairing it with walnut, aged brass and earthy neutrals. Its gentle tonal shading also gives full-length curtains a subtle, light-catching depth.
