About this fabric

This Mulberry Home velvet is made from 83% cotton and 17% polyester, with a 132 cm (51.86") width. Its large paisley arrangement is built around a 58 cm (22.79") vertical repeat and 44 cm (17.29") horizontal repeat, creating a richly ordered pattern across the warm brown-spice ground. Olive and mustard motifs sit alongside rust-red outlines and flashes of teal, giving the colourway an earthy depth rather than a bright or cool appearance. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Pair this spice-toned velvet with dark timber, aged brass and olive or tobacco textiles to emphasise its autumnal depth. On a chair, sofa or headboard, the large paisleys can act as the room’s principal pattern, while curtains use the repeat to create a more enveloping effect.
