Peregrine Paisley Velvet Emerald

Mulberry Long Weekend VelvetFD2002.S16

Emerald here reads as a dark, cool green foundation, giving the paisley arrangement a jewel-like depth. Fine orange, pale blue-green and olive detailing brings warmth and movement across the velvet surface.

About this fabric

Set against a deep, cool emerald ground, the design is packed with scrolling paisleys in moss, blue-green, olive, ochre and warm coral-orange, with fine internal tracery visible across each form. The velvet construction gives the densely patterned surface a softly light-catching depth rather than a flat appearance. It is made from 17% Polyester and 83% Cotton, with a 132 cm (51.86") width. The 58 cm (22.79") vertical and 44 cm (17.29") horizontal repeats are supplied for planning curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery or bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this emerald colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or layered curtain to anchor a room with deep green richness. Pick out its coral-orange, ochre and blue-green accents in piping, cushions or smaller decorative details.

A richly detailed emerald velvet that brings jewel-toned depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with

Peregrine Paisley Velvet Emerald is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
