Morley Blue

Baker House Textures FabricBF10959.660

Morley Blue is a cool, quietly layered blue-grey textile with a fine diamond lattice visible across the surface. Its closely woven texture gives the shade a softly mottled depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The small-scale geometric weave combines blue-grey and pale grey threads in a tightly repeated diamond pattern, creating a restrained, architectural surface. Made from 55% Cotton, 24% Viscose, 11% Linen, 7% Acrylic and 3% Polyester, it has a balanced woven handle suited to both decorative and practical applications. The pattern repeats every 1.5 cm vertically and horizontally, keeping the design discreet across larger pieces. At 142 cm wide and tested to 45,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Morley Blue to bring a cool, composed note to an upholstered armchair, sofa or headboard, where its tiny lattice adds texture without visual heaviness. It also works as a calm curtain or bedspread fabric alongside chalky whites, silvered woods and deeper navy accents.

A cool blue-grey trellis weave with enough structure for upholstery and a neat drape for curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
