Ashmore Stripe Aqua

Ashmore FabricBF10944.725

Ashmore Stripe Aqua shows a delicate vertical stripe in washed aqua and warm ivory, with softly irregular edges that keep the design from feeling rigid. Its lightly textured woven surface gives the pale colour gentle depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

Made from 80% linen, 14% viscose, 2% acrylic and 4% cotton, this 140 cm (55") fabric has a finely spaced 2.5 cm (.98") vertical pattern repeat and a 20 cm (7.86") horizontal repeat. The cool aqua stripes are softened by ivory channels, creating a quiet, misty contrast rather than a strong graphic effect. Supplied for curtains and bedspreads, it is well suited to relaxed, light-filled interiors where the narrow stripe can run cleanly from ceiling to floor or across a bed. Care instructions are to avoid washing, bleaching and ironing and to use professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use the pale aqua and ivory colourway for full-length curtains in a coastal, country or softly contemporary room, pairing it with chalky whites, bleached timber and gentle grey-blue accents. On a bedspread, its narrow vertical rhythm brings subtle structure without overpowering the room.

A cool, airy stripe for softly tailored curtains and calm bedroom schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ashmore Stripe Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
