Kilim Stripe Blue

Portobello FabricBF10911.1

Kilim Stripe Blue combines deep, cool blue with narrow pale lines and repeating geometric bands. Its vertical layout has a crisp, architectural character, while the visibly woven surface keeps the colour softly textured rather than flat.

About this fabric

The design is woven from 70% cotton and 30% jute and measures 135 cm wide, with a 27 cm horizontal pattern repeat. In this colourway, slate-navy ground stripes alternate with fine ivory-grey lines and blue bands containing small triangular and zigzag motifs. The closely spaced verticals give the cloth a tailored, directional appearance, while the natural fibre blend adds visible surface variation. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions are professional dry clean only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the cool navy-blue tone to sharpen a pale, chalky room, or pair it with weathered timber, stone and warm neutrals to soften the graphic vertical rhythm. The geometric bands work especially well on a headboard, occasional chair or full-length curtain where the stripe can run uninterrupted.

A cool, architectural stripe that brings disciplined rhythm to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
