Baker's Indienne Embroidery Soft Blue places cool, dusty blue flowers, leaves and seed-pod forms over a warm cream ground. The detailed botanical arrangement has a softly aged character, with muted taupe, olive and brown accents adding depth around the blue.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 61% linen, 21% viscose and 18% polyester, with a 128 cm width. Its repeating design combines branching stems, thistle-like blooms, curling leaves and small botanical details in soft blue, slate, muted green, taupe and brown. The 78 cm vertical repeat and 64 cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a generous, clearly visible scale for curtains and bedspreads. For care, it should not be washed, bleached or ironed and must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the cool soft-blue ground colours to bring a calm, collected note to bedroom curtains or a bedspread, then pick up the cream background with plain upholstery or bedding. Muted taupe and olive details can connect the embroidery to natural wood and understated painted finishes.
